FOOD MYSTICISM

It seems that most people in this society eat food for a variety of reasons other than nutrition and long healthy life. There are all sorts of emotional and social factors connected to eating. Many of these factors are deeply rooted and strong enough, so that they overshadow any objective, fact based information.

If you eat because of the parameters of the social norm, you get what the social norm gets. If you are eating food that is not healthy, because you don't want to be different than others, or it causes difficulty in your relations, then you are eating according to reasons that have no relevance to the objective nutrient requirements of your biological nature. Only a decision based on these biological requirements is a valid, non-mystical method to determine ones eating habits.

You have to make a choice between your own health and long life and your feelings of social acceptability. One will give you a comfortable short life and the other will give you a short discomfort and a long life. Which one would you choose? Why would you choose it? Which one are you actually living? Why?

You must go beyond intellectually agreement and understanding and move into direct and complete application of sound scientific principles, or suffer the consequences. No one is exempt from the consequences of their actions, no matter what it involves. Every decision or lack thereof, that one makes, is a decision to move closer to life, or closer to death.

All decisions must be made in the context of a lifetime.
